Hello! I just ordered an IKEA kitchen. Now, in all the magazines, you always see the stylish Grundtal spots mounted above the countertop and in the display cabinets. I would like it like that too and have bought two packages of 3 Grundtal spots each. However, I’ve been told that you can’t connect them together. But if I want to install two in the display cabinet and the remaining four on the countertop, how can I switch them on together? Are there any experience reports, or even installation instruction photos? Do you have similar problems? Why is it shown like this everywhere, and then installation is made so complicated? I would appreciate your help! The Gagamelion

Really? Two Ikea employees independently insisted to me that it’s not possible.... overvoltage, etc...

How do you do it then? Do you unscrew the socket?

And one more question, where did you hide the cables? Visible under the tall cabinet, or invisible inside the tall cabinet? I would like to have it invisible inside the cabinet, but then I would have the cables inside the cabinet. How do you solve that?

ps. Thanks in advance :)

Yes, I've already thought about that too, I think either a board will have to go underneath, or a second shelf in the cabinet. But thank you very much for the help!

Yes, a second shelf is also good, but with the other option you don't damage the cabinets. ;) You still have 25 (!) years warranty on that!
