Hello Ikea fans,
it's me again with my wall unit.
As you can see in the picture, I have now abandoned the solution with 2 drawers stacked on top of each other. Now I have a new question. I want to set up the wall unit as shown in the picture.
I have to move the upright parts slightly away from the wall because of the skirting board and the power and TV connections and the associated cables. However, the two marked parts (red arrows), which are attached to the wall, would be flush with the wall and thus several centimeters offset from the upright parts. Since that would look awful, here is my question.
Is there a way to compensate for this depth difference with possibly wooden strips or mounting rails? Is there perhaps already a solution from Ikea? Because cables are also supposed to run behind these hanging cabinets.
Thanks in advance for your answers and suggestions.
Best regards
