Ikea Abstrakt kitchen / oven door cracked

I have a question for you die-hard Ikea fans: two years ago I bought an Ikea Abstrakt kitchen with appliances, and I am quite satisfied with it so far, until the front glass of my oven door shattered into a thousand pieces... this was followed by countless calls to Ikea, Whirlpool, etc..... apparently, I now have to replace my entire built-in oven, plus the cooktop, because the door is not available as a spare part - of course, nobody pays for it.. glass breakage..
Does anyone have an idea where I could get an oven door so that I don't have to replace everything??

Exactly when 2 years ago? Don’t you have a longer warranty on electrical appliances (5 years or so)? Or is the stove called LAGAN?

Within 2 years manufacturer’s warranty, after the 2 years IKEA warranty. That means, first pay the Whirlpool invoice, then go to IKEA and get a refund upon presenting the receipt and invoice. In case of a total defect: go to customer service with the Whirlpool report, explain the situation, choose a new oven, settle the difference. Or is the glass breakage your own fault?

unfortunately already two and a half years ago, so no warranty and as far as I know the 5-year ikea warranty does not cover glass breakage - own fault well, a cookbook slipped from my hand and fell on the door handle, however from about 10 cm height and a book, meaning cardboard, for that to cause the whole door to shatter into a thousand shards I find rather strange and more likely a material defect, anyway, who do you want to explain that to.. glass breakage is glass breakage even the household insurance does not cover it......

If you can't get spare parts from Whirlpool, then it doesn't look good. Either you get lucky and find a used/defective Framtid somewhere cheap, or you need a new one. Unfortunately, the cooktop is controlled through the oven, meaning you might have to replace it if necessary.

You could also take the successor Framtid ovu b01. It is the successor to your oven.
