I think we will go for it :D

Sure, some of the requirements are not our dream, but we can live well with them.

I didn’t know there are city villas with pitched roofs....

We have quite a bit planned for the near future and I definitely have a thousand new questions :)

Anyway, a big thank you to you all again. I’m approaching this now with a good feeling.

I think the sun is okay.

I also find the eaves height good. Although if the neighbor already fully exploits it, a substantial building can arise.

What would "bother" me is that the garage has to be placed perpendicular to the ridge direction.

What surprised me the most, however, is the surroundings on google-maps. So you don’t actually need a car to get to the hardware store. Or rather, the agricultural operation to your right is probably nice as well. Looks like animal breeding.

Somehow, this residential area together with the houses to the left of Erlenweg seems to be encircled by industry and commerce...

Infrastructure like schools and kindergartens is only available north of the B 525.

Are you aware of that?

We took a look around a new development area where there are similar specifications and they are really partly "blocky", but I guess we will probably have that too :D Regarding the garage, I didn't give it much thought. My husband would like a double garage. We'll see what can ultimately be realized... We are aware of the location and think it's quite okay. Closer to the city you can't get anything anyway, and since we both work outside, it is even an improvement for the commute. We (still) don't have children. A playground is within walking distance. Everything else then by bike or car. The farmer next door has, as far as I know, cattle...

Well... the main thing is no pig farming! Good luck. And don't fill it up too much. The DG is talking to him about it. He should worship you, not his car. Karsten

You can forget about the double garage. It would have to go into the building envelope. And with that, you take up a lot of space...
