Doing it properly is the true art. :D I have also never seen a really useful application of KNX. But I am also very old school (and even ordered manual roller shutters from the installer).

I like tinkering just as much (yesterday still with a soldering iron in my hand and today just crawled out from under the car) and for that very reason I installed KNX in the house. Because the house should simply work (for decades) yet I want to make quick changes if needed.
