You are welcome to explain that in more detail.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of it so far. It is a capacitive switch that is glued behind the tiles. This is quite nice in a shower or, in my case, on the bathtub, to control music, lighting, and blinds.

More details can be found by searching for Loxone Touch Surface.

This is nothing special from Loxone, there are parts from several manufacturers. With KNX integration, for example the Enertex ProxyTouch. But generally a pretty cool thing in the shower or under the kitchen countertop.

Of course this technology is not new, but quite a nice gimmick.

If you think a bit during installation, a switch to KNX is possible at any time, but currently not necessary

Bang, another one... Osram is shutting down Lightify as of 31.08.2021. The bulbs can apparently be connected to other Zigbee systems, but for example Alexa/Google integration is no longer possible, groups are no longer possible, and there are no more updates.

Just in case someone is thinking again about using something like this as a basis for their house, because it's so cheap and works so great.

Haha, my original post was also about Lightify :D So now it’s not another one, but still Osram :) The message still fits as well.
