How to recognize Keramag / Geberit KeraTect?

Hello,

we are currently building a house with a developer.
We went into the house without the developer (we are actually not allowed to, but the craftsmen let us in).
In any case, we saw one of the packaged washbasins.
We photographed and checked the part number.
It is not the KeraTect version. However, we ordered KeraTect.
In the next few days, we have the handover with the developer.

How can we determine at the handover (on the installed) washbasin whether it is KeraTect or not?
Is the part number or any marking related to KeraTect on the underside, or something like that?
If the part number, for example, is only on the back at Geberit, we obviously cannot check it during acceptance.

Are there any ideas on how to check this most intelligently at the handover or prove that no KeraTect was installed here?

By the way, another washbasin and 2 toilets are also supposed to have KeraTect, but we have seen neither the items nor the packaging. However, it is probably also not KeraTect there.

Now we somehow have to check or prove this at the handover...

Best regards

If a part is from another manufacturer, the others are too. Often they are cheaper private labels of the wholesale. Just call the manufacturer and ask how you can reliably identify his product.

I would rather ask myself how I can prevent these things from being installed without the GU finding out that I was in the house .. ? Purpose: A) Avoidance of resource waste (installation/removal -> disposal?) B) Avoidance of "more" trouble than necessary since higher costs (for installation/removal) arise

... just checked:

just run your finger over it during acceptance and firmly claim:
This is not KeraTect ... much too rough. Would you kindly have the part number at hand?
(Reversal of the burden of proof :cool

Proceed as written by superzapp. Otherwise, it cannot be recognized anywhere.

Hm, yes, simply claiming it and insisting on proof, e.g. [Lieferschein], would be an idea. It would of course be nice if we could recognize something on site at some marking or if the part number is visible on the underside. Then we could directly prove on site that it is not correct. Somehow Geberit must also be able to recognize what kind of part has been installed here. I will call Geberit on Monday and ask. Thanks already for the tips.
