How to move from KfW55 to KfW40+?

Hello,

we have (to my surprise) achieved a perfect hit on Kfw55 with our house planning. Since the repayment subsidies are becoming more interesting from 01.04.16, I also took a look at Kfw 40/40+.

Roughly about the house:
Single-family house with approx. 138 sqm, usable basement, ground floor, attic. Gable roof with 18°. Monolithic construction with controlled indoor ventilation and air-water heat pump.

In the KfW 40+ information sheet it says:
- A power-generating system based on renewable energies
- A stationary battery storage system (power storage)
- A ventilation system with heat recovery
- A visualization of power generation and power consumption via a suitable user interface

That means a photovoltaic system with battery storage might be enough to reach KfW 40+?
Then with a €15,000 subsidy, no major additional cost would be necessary.

Best regards,

Hi,

I mean, first you have to get from 55 to 40 and then install the Plus Package.

That means bringing Q_p and H´_T down from 55 to 40 and from 70 to 55, respectively.

Whether that is possible afterwards? Questionable, you really have to ask the builder of your house / architect. Personally, I think a) it’s not that easy and b) it will probably cost a considerable amount of money if it is possible.

What you have listed seems to be only the scope for the Plus Package.

Best regards
Thorsten

Hello Thorsten,

No, not really.

It is actually sufficient (as long as the single-family house is not to be built on the Kahlen ASten) to have the photovoltaic system* described by the OP along with storage.

Edit: *of sufficient size. How big it needs to be is calculated by the specialist planner.

Rhenish greetings

Not a bad thing. Then I must have looked at the wrong documents.

That would be optimal for the OP.....

I have read the information sheets of the KfW and therefore came to this conclusion. However, I am not familiar with the details. If this might be an option, I would only educate myself a little about photovoltaic systems before I get the exact statement from the energy consultant.
