It looks like your roof comes from Eindhofen. I am also interested in that. My neighbor has this as well. He did not use wire nails, but key screws with dowels. I also briefly considered that. My wall construction is as follows: 11.5 cm solid clinker, 14 cm insulation (mineral wool) with air layer, 17.5 cm Poroton brick (high-hole brick).
I once inquired with the mentioned manufacturer/dealer whether a different installation than the wire nails (fastening in the rear masonry) by means of injection is possible or whether a different installation is possible with two-shell masonry. I received the following answer:
Our engineers always install the wall profile and the wall with less than 10 centimeters insulation.
For a wall with more insulation or insufficient strength, we recommend a construction beam
-> A construction beam is basically a post and a girder beam on the house wall, but not connected with it. Not an option for me.
In the meantime, I am tending towards fastening with threaded rods and injection mortar. Only for the number of rods / diameter I have no idea yet to be able to comply with the snow load. But I think with 10 pieces (my width is 8 m), so every 80 cm, that should be sufficient.
Probably my statement won’t help you much either, but maybe it will (at least their statement regarding the fastening)
Regards
Stephan
