How much deviation is acceptable when masonry is done?

We were at the kitchen fitter today and afterwards at the construction site where the ground floor was finished this week. During this, we noticed that the plan for the kitchen deviates somewhat from reality. According to the plan, the kitchen should be 2.995m wide, but I measured 2.909m at the wall and about a good centimeter more at the transition to the dining room. I understand that bricklaying is not millimeter work ("the bricklayer is happy if he stays on the property..."), but about 8cm seems a bit much to me. Is this still acceptable and what should I do about it now? Should I point out to the general contractor that the bricklayers upstairs should measure better? Basically, I can also live well with a kitchen that is about a hand's breadth smaller.

I would refer to DIN 18202.

Is the entire room smaller because of this? Or has the deviation already occurred in the factory plan?

8 cm is far beyond any tolerances.

If someone plans a kitchen at 2.995 m, I better not ask.

That is obvious, unless the other wall has also been shifted accordingly.

Is the wall then thicker or crooked or is the room behind then bigger?

9 cm off is out of the question.
Is there no construction manager?

Whether the room behind is larger, I don’t know. Unfortunately, I hadn’t thought to measure everything. I would generally assume that some parts are missing, the plans are full of 40cm walls but the stones are 42.5cm (Question: does something like this still count as a minor change?). Although that is still far from explaining the deviation.

I never questioned the odd numbers. They were already in the first draft, are in the building application, and have thus also been included in the construction plan.

Show me the work plan. Bricks are 42.5 cm, so why is the work plan 40 cm? How is anyone supposed to check that? You should check the dimension chains.

Here is the section for the ground floor. The construction description also states 40cm, everything is consistent in itself. Just not matching the stones.
