Because it completely disregards the individual's genetic predisposition; how else could non-smokers die from so-called typical "smoker diseases"? Just my 2 Coins Rhineland greetings

Construction expert, passive smoking is also very dangerous. And lung cancer is also caused by any kind of fine dust, for example wood dust or stone dust are also carcinogenic.
