How long does one have to wait for the construction application from the construction company?

About 4 weeks, since everything was already available (land and site plans). Besides, the floor plan was still fine-tuned quite a bit ;)

4 weeks? That's fast. I already have the land as well. But I've been waiting for the documents for 6 weeks. If this continues, there won't be a start of construction in 2013.

So in our case it also takes 'rather long'. But that's because first the construction company estimates the expected costs on the initial sketches, the architect works, the construction company determines the costs, the architect adjusts, the construction company recalculates, the architect ... - The final OK for the building application drawings is expected at the beginning to middle of next month. Well, the plot has been transferred since the end of May.
There definitely won't be any start of construction this year. If the building application even gets approved this year, the basement builder will say: 'Are you crazy? I don't build a basement in frost!'.

It also took us about 3-4 weeks, but unfortunately only because the surveyor was on vacation, otherwise it would have gone faster. However, we also took a house that already existed in its shell construction dimensions, so the plans already existed and only minor adjustments had to be made. Did you take a standard house, or completely custom planning? Regards Bastian
