How large is your lawn?

nothing. No lawn.

we’ll first lawn everything. about 700m² on a 1000m² plot. it’s shitty work, and the bigger the area the more relaxed I can approach it with machines. once everything is level and everything has grown in, then I can think about the playhouse, pool, and trees/beds. circling around the trees with the rotary tiller and roller is crap, better to do everything properly once, and then continue from there.

A consistent approach, which we also took with our last house in 2001. It was worth it.

We have a 21x16m lawn area, the back 4-5m are for trampoline/climbing frame/etc. On the ~15x15m you can wonderfully play small-sided football, where we always play across the house.
