Hello everyone,
I am the new one. I have little experience with topics related to building a house, building savings and financing, and was never specifically prepared for the topic, so to speak.
So far, I have renovated the attic apartment of my parents and invested almost all my money there, about €80k. Actually, my girlfriend wanted to move into the apartment with me, but due to a family case, my brother is living there again, and it is uncertain how long that will be. I just want to be independent and live my life as I want, like topics such as getting married, having children, and so on. Unfortunately, this is not possible in the current situation.
I have the opportunity to get a 1600 sqm plot from my parents in exchange for adding extra floors to their property.
My question is how do I finance and build properly? What is appropriate nowadays? Do people still build solid houses or do they rather go for fully prefabricated houses? Which subsidies can be applied for to maximize benefits as a young person?
About my professional background:
- I have a permanent job with protection against dismissal due to operational reasons
- I earn €2370 net, increasing by 5% over the next 3 years
- No 13th-month salary or vacation pay
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum
Regards
Venom
It is a question from me, a suggestion, after all, we are in this thread area

and I would appreciate if we could help him in a structured way with both topics.
