How can one save electricity?

There are already noticeable differences between the energy guzzlers of the past and the current devices. Unfortunately, these are being eaten up again by the constantly rising energy costs.

I have also taken several measures to save electricity. Turn off stand-by devices. Then installed LED lamps. When cooking, put the lid on the pot. Then during the week, I use the shower instead of the bathtub.

mmh, the standby thing is not always sensible, because some devices then consume more power when starting up. Saving is indeed a fine thing, but if it comes at the expense of convenience like

Then I use the shower during the week instead of the bath.

I don’t know, that’s not for me :)

There are many ways to reduce energy costs. With some things, convenience is sacrificed. The dishwasher is not started until it is full. The same happens with the washing machine.
