Ok, we still have a lot of excavation soil left to mix. We had it pushed aside on purpose. I can easily cut the weeds at the top and spread them on it.

There is very little shrub trimmings. Our bushes grow very slowly (in my opinion). There is hardly anything to prune.

Have you fertilized them?

They are probably supposed to be fertilized with the compost, which closes the circle :D

So yes, I fertilized them with horn shavings 3 years ago when planting. That is supposed to be a long-term fertilizer. And now I was really hoping I could spread the soil there. I would also spread the slime, but it sticks like puma poop. That won't work. :)

Horn shavings are a long-lasting fertilizer for one season.
At the beginning of the season always mix horn meal with shavings and put it on the soil around the plants. So, now!
