Hello everyone,

I know it doesn’t directly have to do with gardening. But since it’s a plant question, I didn’t know where it would fit better.
We have had an Aralia in the hallway for a few weeks.

It has shown a strange infestation for some time now.

The leaves are partly streaky.

And are actually rotting away.

Does anyone know what this is and how we can fight it?
We are not really attached to the plant, but if we could save it, that would of course be nicer.

Best regards
Tarnari

My wife says those are probably whiteflies, also called greenhouse moths. The picture with the rotten leaf looks like aphids. Maybe you can google that.

We have (or rather my wife) already googled pretty much everything. Could it be something else?

Could they possibly be [Wollläuse]? We also had something like that on a plant that was too dark.

It already itches me just looking at it. I would put them right outside the door :-)

The strange thing is, with all those creatures there should be a kind of "network" infestation. But there is no sign of it:
