Sure, purely ironic. I don’t charge my work internally at all when I provide support for another department. We give that away to the colleagues and if at the end of the year our utilization is poor because we gave our services away internally, then our big boss says, "No problem, maybe next year"... In reality, of course we charge for it, and with a margin... even internally.

And when maintenance comes at VW and equipment xyz is repaired, they don’t allocate it to the specific equipment, but to the big "something just broke" pool. That’s not true either. The equipment operator pays and is responsible for it, which is why repairs are always done so late... because every cent has to be justified.

And it works the same way at the car dealership. If salesperson x sells 2 cars and salesperson y sells 25, then both get the same, hold hands, and sing ;) Ok now it’s getting ironic, sorry.

Household insurance is money thrown away. Movable items in a house have no market value after a few years at the latest and therefore such an insurance is completely unnecessary.

And you simply seem to have no idea, because with contents insurance it is not the market value but the replacement value that is decisive.

Exactly! That's why household insurance is more worthwhile than any direct property insurance, as the latter usually only pays the current value.

This fairy tale is told by every insurance agent in the world. It is part of their basic training.

Uh. The replacement value is the current value.
