It would have been quite feasible, but there were various reasons against it: - Renovation would have been possible, but associated with very high costs and one would have had to make "compromises" - the maker dismissed one thing or another far too flippantly: double vs. triple glazing, the latter would have been nonsense for that time. And some windows had single glazing - no detailed information available - the roof window was clearly water damage, he said it probably rained in there at some point - BUT main reason: high-voltage power line!

As stated above: there will be a "Bald" new development area that we have been waiting for what feels like forever. Now, after such a long time, to give up the dream of one’s perfect house and buy an existing property with the necessary "compromises"... oh no.

I have been mulling over a floor plan for months/years, which might eventually make it to the forum for "getting torn apart" when it becomes urgent here. But without the right plot, probably too early at this point.
