It can just go either way – our cheapest flat-rate offer was cheaper than the cheapest with itemized points... and there was also a lot of crap built in.

Even in the worst case, we would have ended up roughly with the cheapest all-inclusive offer. And thus the only two comparable ones. had also estimated roughly the same quantities

Sorry for following up, but to get a sense of the price: What did you end up paying for which quantities?

50k€ for 750cbm of construction debris seems really okay to me, today I received a similar (UNRELIABLE...) offer for a quarter of that amount and then immediately with 50% down payment before work starts...

I can say little about the quantities - it was a few years ago and the offers on paper have certainly been in the recycling bin for a long time... But it was a settlement house from the 30s, without a basement, about 110sqm and an outbuilding - that was removed once for about 15000.

Approximately 50% of the costs were disposal. Disposal depends on the landfill fees and the distance to the landfill. The lowest pollutant class in 2017 was at 17 or 18 euros per cubic meter and the landfill was about 20 km away. The highest pollutant class was just over 53 euros per cubic meter and the landfill was 60 km away (Don't ask how much we sweated until the lab result was in. All except for that pollutant class had it).

I cannot offer a flat rate for the demolition, but I can provide some individual items that are very current. By the way, instead of screed, cast asphalt screed was found on the ground floor, which was covered with cardboard and therefore could not simply be brought to the asphalt plant for €9/ton.

- Dismantling and disposal of oil tank: €1140
- Construction rubble per 7cm3 end of 2019: €360
- Construction rubble per 7cm3 beginning of 2020: €403
- If you take the construction rubble to the landfill (Main Kinzig District) €8/ton
- Mineral wool in original packaging 1500L: €24 (landfill)
- Cast asphalt with impurities 7.160T: €342.42
- Mixed construction waste: €229/ton

Costs add up quickly.
