House building company does not do what I want - feedback wanted!

Patio doors: I would insist on compliance with the contract. The general contractor is to change the window company, as verbally indicated.

Wall thickness: If you have approved the plans, it is too late. If the relationship with the general contractor is still good, it might be possible to negotiate something extra elsewhere with reference to the error.

What is your rough ceiling height? For us, it is 2.635m. The floor construction is 14cm. So it is 2.495m from the finished floor to the ceiling. Minus the roller shutter box of 30cm, that leaves 2.195m terrace door height.

In my input planning, the terrace door height is also 2.33m, but based on the above, you can imagine that this is not possible. Unless I have misunderstood something :p

However, you don’t have a roller shutter box, so it should actually be possible.

Yes, the raw construction dimensions were given, i.e. minus floor construction. To be precise: 2.77m raw construction height. 20cm floor construction (no prefabricated floor). That leaves 2.57m. Lintel 25cm. That leaves 2.32m for the patio doors. No roller shutter.

But I wouldn't make a big deal out of 6cm. That's 30cm² over 5m of bathroom length. That won't make your bathroom any bigger either. :)
