Hello,
after many months of searching for parquet, we have finally found a floor that we really like.
It is the Castellano Schlossdiele from Belmono.
It is produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I have already been in contact with the manufacturer. So far, everything sounded quite okay, the manufacturer gives a reasonable impression. I could also buy directly from the manufacturer, but then I would have to take care of shipping and import, so the purchase is only feasible through Holzland Becher, or via a floor installer. This is a new building (apartment), we don’t have a floor installer yet, so no one to ask about this.
When you look around at dealers etc., you mostly see Haro, Kährs, Meister, and Parador, as well as various private labels, like HQ at Holzland Becker, or Belmono at Holzland Becher.
The selection of Schlossdielen is by far not as diverse as that of Landhausdielen. We especially like the Belmono floor because of the dimensions, 350x24cm. The individual plank already looks fantastic visually in the store!
The Schlossdielen from Haro and others sometimes cost twice as much as the Belmono planks... now the question arises whether the price difference really only comes from the name, or if the Belmono plank is not of equally high quality?
It is important to us to have a high-quality floor that gives us a lot of joy for the coming years. In principle, I would also be willing to pay the extra cost for Haro and co., but there is no plank look there that we like as much as the one from Belmono. There is another floor from Hain that would look okay, but it would cost about twice as much per square meter, and it would only look “okay”.
Does anyone know Belmono and can tell me something about their quality?
