Help with the floor plan for a semi-detached house - Which entrance is more practical?

What speaks against an entrance in the northwest? (So on the west side but in the northern area). Friends have such an entrance in their semi-detached house and I think they have a successful floor plan. In the friends' house, the building is about 0.5 meters above ground level, so their terrace is somewhat higher. The path then runs along the house below the terrace and you go up 3 steps to the entrance door. It looks quite nice there.

...There are some semi-detached houses that have their entrance on the northwest side, where guests walk along the terrace and the house to reach the entrance.

@Wastl: I have already written it: Because NOBODY does that! Visitors, if they park in front of the garden, are more likely to knock on the terrace door and press their noses flat against the glass than to go around the house. We've been doing this for 14 years now! Strangers are also among those standing on the terrace....
