Since I, like many others, like to hide my trash bins, I am considering planting a hedge in the shape of a snail, with the trash bins in the middle. This way, they would only be visible when standing directly in front of them. What do you think of this idea?

Does anyone have experience with this?

(You know the snail showers from bathrooms. Something like that, but as an evergreen hedge.)

Why not, but you will need quite a bit of space. 3 tons + [Gelbe Säcke] that I do not want to store openly are what we have.

That definitely looks pretty, however I prefer to pull full barrels linearly and over a short distance.

You won't see the trash bins, but a huge hedge snail. 50cm hedge, 100cm walkway, standing area + movement space in the middle of the snail...

I would do it this way (which does not mean that I am doing it this way, because I don't have that much space):

and directly in front of the bins a one-meter maneuvering distance, you have to get through yourself with bins and buckets/bags.
That quickly turns 2 sqm of waste area into 10-15 sqm
