We installed a 3kW Solarlogic infrared heater in the covered part of the terrace ceiling. It can be controlled in 3 levels with the phone and a supplied remote control. It's great when you're sitting outside in autumn with friends who are freezing. First, you bring out the blankets, then you turn on the heater. The radiation area covers about 6 people well. We rarely use the device, but when we do, it really helps to enjoy the situation.
It could have been that by now there is something that warms from below.
Don’t you have the same problem with heaters, whether infrared or gas, as with fire? Everything in the beam area gets warm, the rest cold?
No one needs something like that – especially not for extending living space to the outside even on colder days. It’s a nice feature when you stay outside longer during the transitional season and enjoy the fresh air with wine and cheese while having a good conversation you don’t want to interrupt. A warm conservatory is not outside, but a room. We also have large windows in our living space, even facing every direction.Ok I don't need something like that, I'm not a freeze baby and if anything I would really consider a warm conservatory. Last year at -20 degrees I did dig out the ski pants and long underwear
