Hello,

I have received an offer for our heating and ventilation system and wanted to ask what you think about it.

We want to build a single-family house with approximately 145 m² of living space with Kfw 70 standard.
As a heating system, a brine-water heat pump “Buderus WPS 9 K” is to be installed. I imagined heating it so that all living rooms have a constant temperature of 22 °C and the bathrooms 24 °C. Therefore, I would omit the room controllers and the buffer tank.

As a ventilation system, a “Tecalor TVZ 270” is to be installed. This should be operated with a ground collector brine.

What do you think of this setup and are my ideas about heating feasible? Perhaps someone has experience with these systems.

Thanks in advance.

PS: A fireplace is also present in the house.

Hello,
Whether this brine heat pump is suitable and appropriate for the building project can only be answered after the necessary calculations such as heating load according to DIN 12831, room heat loads, actual energy demand for heating and domestic hot water preparation, etc. have been carried out. For brine heat pumps, a buffer for heating is mostly dispensable – however, not in every case ;) On the ERR it can only be omitted upon application, as the Energy Saving Ordinance prescribes it! Heat pumps "live" off their source, therefore the dimensioning/calculation of this deserves the utmost attention. Overall, high annual performance factors (> 4.5) are only achieved with exact dimensioning/calculation of the entire system (thermal, hydraulic)! Possibly there are better manufacturers (price/performance)
Experiences could at best be helpful regarding operation, control, comfort, all other statements are object-specific and would not be transferable.

Best regards
