Hello everyone,

I am new here in the forum and would like to get some information about the heating system.

We will probably have our house built in 2020. Now the question arises about the heating system.

There is no gas connection on the property, the rest is available.

I had read up a bit and actually gas is no longer an option for me.

Now I am facing the question of whether to install an air-to-air heat pump or an air-to-water heat pump?!
Ground source heat is not an option due to the drilling costs and approval procedures.
Currently, I have a photovoltaic system with just under 9 kWp capacity (built in 11/2019) on my outbuilding; this will then be switched to the new house.

What are your personal opinions on this, regarding air-to-air or air-to-water?

Regards Daniel

How should one say anything about that?
What is your heating load?
How large is the [Grundstück]?

You want to build a passive house?

No idea how to respond to that, that's why I'm asking you
I can't answer the heating load yet. The preliminary offer for the house is still coming. It will be a city villa with exterior dimensions of 9.00 m * 9.50 m.
The plot is 1100 sqm with our current house on it and an outbuilding with garage, storage room, and warehouse.

it will definitely be a solid house. But I don't know if it will be a passive house.

The cheapest option is Luft_Luft but also the least efficient ....

What is the rest? Oil pipeline? District heating?

You cannot look at it individually but only as part of the overall concept.
But read up on the changed subsidies... with 1100 sqm plot... ring trench collector. Even if you don’t contribute any own work, depending on the constellation you may be better off than with many other options if you take the subsidies into account.

But first do some research and think about where you want to go (insulation standard etc.) then you should also have an offer made.

You wouldn’t go to a car dealership and say make me an offer for a car. 2.5m x 4.7m and then register in the car forum and ask with those details whether it should be petrol or diesel.
