Hello, we are currently thinking about where to position the heating circuit distributor on the upper floor. Our concern is that the control valves cause noise and therefore the heating circuit distributor should not be built into a wall that directly adjoins, for example, the bedroom or the children's rooms. What are your experiences with this?

With us, the distributor is behind the bedroom door.
We hear nothing.

hm, I have never really thought about that O_o so I am also interested if they cause any noise.

We placed the distributor on the ground floor directly between two bedrooms. The only logical alternative would be to check which other rooms you have on the upper floor. For us, that would be the bathroom and the hallway, and there is only one wall left that does not touch a bedroom.

I hope the units do not produce any noise, rearranging would be pretty difficult for us.

From the distributor, all circuits for the floor go out initially. So, in front of the distributor, you may have an area where the pipes are extremely close together. Therefore, the room where the distributor is located will definitely get a bit warm. For me, who also likes to sleep with the window open in winter, having the distributor in the bedroom would therefore be a no-go; however, it would be well placed in the bathroom.

I also think it is well placed on the upper floor in the bathroom or utility/storage room.

For us, it is on the ground floor in the cloakroom: the jackets dry quickly, unfortunately a bit complicated when my yeast dough has to rise there – then the shoes have to be put away.

Best regards in brief
