Hello,
so even though the investment in a geothermal heat pump is larger (as far as I am informed, only the price of the drilling is the additional cost factor), I would definitely prefer a geothermal heat pump if it is financially feasible. It works great, we have it ourselves, and this way we are not dependent on gas prices and have a low monthly heating cost burden. For 145m² we pay only €110 per month including household electricity, controlled ventilation with heat recovery, heating, and hot water. The house should definitely be a low-energy house, meaning well insulated. Then you also get a small contribution from the BAFA as part of the promotion of efficient heating systems.
You would have to ask the companies for exact costs. For us, it was already included in the house price as standard.
I hope this helps you further.
