There is 5 years on houses according to the Building Code. A commissioned craftwork has 2 years. What does the long-established company work by? Building Code or VOB?

I agree. You don’t need to give a reason why you’re only addressing this now. Just don’t bring years of accumulated anger into the communication, that would be counterproductive.

Your parquet was poorly installed - unfortunately - but somehow you accepted it afterwards. And even if you did not officially "accept" it with a handshake, your consent still applies if you did not make a complaint within a reasonable period.

And what you see now is new cracks and such? Then warranty applies. Or does it still look like it did after the "acceptance" - just poor workmanship? Then rather no warranty.

Does anyone know more precisely?
