That is relative. It puts at least more bubbles into the water than a purchased "medium" sparkling bottle. If that is not enough, then it actually doesn't fizz particularly strongly. I use the system regularly when I am at the office. There are about 20 users there who have not complained about too little fizz so far. The advantage is, you can also have little or no fizz if you want.

We buy regular sparkling water, so not medium. We also have a Sodastream, but we don't like the taste as much as store-bought because it feels like it fizzes a bit less. The best option would probably be to try out the different systems. The question is whether/where that is possible.

I don't understand. Just press longer after it creaks. Then Sodastream will be fizzier than the usual medium.

We also thought for a long time about getting such a multifunction tap, but then decided against it (for us, the new quooker was under consideration, which also provides cold water and cold sparkling water).

I think the taps are great if you use them a lot and frequently. For example, in the office where several people keep fetching water. Because if you don't get water for a while, the supply line has to run through first until you have cold or sparkling water. Besides, we have a descaling system and to be honest: I prefer to drink raw water (i.e., not descaled). But that means the tap has to be descaled more often, or the filter has to be changed.

We now have a Quooker that only provides us with boiling hot water (descaled, because that is better for tea) and a raw water tap that simply gives us cold water (as cold as it comes from the pipe). The latter goes into bottles and is carbonated with Sodaclub – as much as we want. I like it very sparkling, my husband still, friends medium. I let the Sodaclub carbonate three times, my friend twice.

My Sodaclub is already a good 20 years old (was the first model) and still works perfectly. We're just thinking about buying the one for glass bottles because we find that more pleasant.

I would like to resurrect this thread from the dead again. It fits timewise :p for Easter.

Currently, I am also looking for something like that. Preferably a small, elegant additional tap on the countertop that simply dispenses sparkling tap water. It doesn't have to cool, boil, or descale.

I don't really like the look of Grohe Blue taps (my nephew has one).

The Quooker would just about be acceptable visually, but it can actually do too much and requires a lot of space under the sink. Otherwise, it would be available for 2600 including installation (3 liters).

Brita offers an elegant separate tap with an undersink unit. But they seriously want 3800 net plus monthly fees or maintenance (79€ monthly!) for it. The possible output is more aimed at companies anyway.

A Swiss company also makes a "just" tap, so only for sparkling water. If I remember correctly, that thing is supposed to cost 2800 net?

So far, I find the "Acquatico UNO" the nicest (simple/plain), but apparently it is no longer available. They apparently only have the BubbleBox on offer now.

Who knows Acquatico or BubbleBox personally or through acquaintances etc. and can say something about it?
