That is a philosophical question. For our house, we went with the complete Nibe program (Nibe S1155-6 and Nibe ERS 10-400). Communication via Uplink as a software interface and thus absolutely certain that the BAFA will fund it. I chose the Nibe S1155 because the volume flow can be very low here (under 300l/h), so that the water storage tank for a fresh water station can be layered with ease and, if necessary, a heating circuit mixer can be dispensed with if the volume of the heating system is smaller. If the BAFA also accepts KNX, EnOcean or similar as an interface, then various other combinations are also possible. It hardly matters whether you opt for Nibe (or alpha innotec, Novelan), IDM, or others as a brine-water heat pump. What would be important to me personally is a good COP and that the brine-water heat pump is modulating as well as having a good low load limit. The rest is no rocket science anymore. For controlled residential ventilation, Zehnder or Maico are often mentioned as manufacturers. If we had not chosen Nibe, it would probably have been a Zehnder Q350.
