Unfortunately, I did not find anything suitable through the search.

I am trying to protect myself from my next disappointment. Our current sectional sofa was great in the store, but after half a year it was already very worn out (durability = 0).

We also do not like the models from Couchliebe very much (visually).

We want a classic U-shaped sectional sofa without big extra functions.

Width of about 330-350 cm is possible.

The sectional sofa should of course be comfortable and offer plenty of space.

Sectional sofas from Poland could be interesting. Is the quality good there as well?

Ours was top. You can also request reinforcement for heavy bones :-). That’s what we will demand for our current couch now. It was important to us that the couch is easy to care for. The fabric looks somewhat like velvet, but it is very, very robust and you can easily wipe over it without any problems.

In the subforum you chose, there are actually a few threads on the topic?!

Well, then don’t buy an “own brand,” but rather just try out the brand-name furniture directly.

For example… there is quite a bit more… maybe also invest a bit more money for the requested meters for a sectional sofa if you want quality :)

ok I will take a look at the Polish shops

can you maybe recommend some directly?

Which brands would you recommend?

What would you say are good points of contact for sectional sofas here?

I only found one thread with furniture where sectional sofas were not included

None. I'm not really into sectional sofas from the furniture store. I approach buying furniture differently than in the forum. Wherever that is! Just go to a furniture store and see what they offer. Then you won't even spare a glance for the store brands, and that's that.

It's quite simple, look for seating arrangements displayed in the nearby 1 to 3 furniture stores that you like, and then go there every about 4 weeks over a period of more than 3 months and repeatedly try sitting extensively. Then you notice how the quality "changes" or doesn't "change" and whether the sitting position still fits. For example, I would be out at 38 cm height, just as I would be out if I lean back and my feet can no longer touch the floor because the seat depth is too deep. That always leaves a kind of toddler feeling.

Make sure to choose fabrics with high abrasion resistance values, then they won't wear out quickly.
