Glueing parquet or laying it floating - that is the question here :)
Hello everyone!
I want to lay parquet in our new house soon and would basically prefer the floating installation because I have no prior knowledge and do not really trust myself to glue it. On the other hand, I want the best possible solution and would be willing to invest a lot of time and effort for it.
According to my research, glued parquet offers better impact and room sound insulation.
That is important to me, but on the other hand, there are also corresponding insulation options for floating parquet. If that is not enough, is the glued version definitely less noisy?
Is there anything else speaking in favor of glued parquet? I would love to hear some experience-based opinions. Thx!
