Hello dear door specialists,

if I order a glass door with the dimensions 709 x 1972, what size should my frame then be? Is it then a frame of the same size, 709 x 1972, or does it have to be bigger? I am a bit unsure about that.

Thank you very much for your effort and response,
Beate

Hello Beate,

The door dimensions are always given in the outer dimensions of the door leaf. Normal standard doors are always rebated doors. Since a glass door has no rebate, it is referred to as a flush door, hence the strange numbers. For your door leaf, a frame with the standard size 735 x 1985 would be suitable.

Best regards Marinio
