Gas fireplace stove without heating function - model/company due to LAS before construction?

I am not entirely sure if I have chosen the correct subforum here and I thank you for any corresponding hint.

We are building a prefabricated house (some already know this ;-) ) and for atmospheric reasons we want a gas fireplace stove in the living room, which, however, is not intended as a heater except for the usual heat radiation. Now the authorized district chimney sweep, whom we contacted on the advice of the house construction company, informed us that the LAS proposed by the house construction company (see attached photos 1 and 2) can be approved from his side, but it depends on the supplier of the gas fireplace stove whether they can use the proposed LAS or not. (?)

My question to you: Does this mean that we have to decide now on a specific gas fireplace stove supplier? We actually wanted to do that later when things have calmed down a bit.

What experiences/systems do you use and how did you proceed? Did you already decide on a supplier and/or model --> before building the house

If you could explain it to me as an example, I would be grateful, I do not understand the whole concept. Are the systems not standardized or from which "point" are they standardized or is there some kind of "adapter" ... or is there even anarchy in this area. ;-)

Thanks in advance.

It is supposed to represent the air-exhaust system for the gas fireplace stove. However, my question has been resolved since we will forego the gas fireplace stove. My husband and I have reconsidered and decided on a few changes. More details will follow in one of my other threads as soon as there is planning certainty. It is not forgotten that the information about the costs will also follow as soon as they are finalized. :)

Right on! The money is better invested in a 4-8k TV with integrative design/built-in features. Then you can not only have a fireplace, but depending on your mood and feelings, also a Caribbean beach or an aquarium or even outer space!

Rightly so! I was already itching to write "just leave that stuff out," but I thought you guys have enough on your plate at the moment, so I refrained. I don’t understand this fireplace obsession in new builds anyway: in cold, drafty, old houses it might be cozy, but in a new build I find it somewhat outdated (even if the new build is yellow with red roof tiles and has shutters ;) ).

Matter of opinion. For us, a fireplace is quality of life. It was at the very top of the list of things that are a must. And definitely not a gas fireplace, but wood. Especially now in the transitional period, when the heating wouldn't be on yet, but it is already cool and damp in the evenings, a fire in the stove is just great.
