We have built our structure on the following base:

- 25cm gravel (a bit less would probably have done the job)
- 3cm grit
- 8cm paving stones (the second cheapest) set in garden concrete
The house itself or rather its substructure made of KVH of course does not stand directly on the paving stones but on roofing felt

The thing has already survived some severe storms, screwing it down unnecessary.

The most annoying part was compacting the gravel, otherwise I can recommend the setup. Good and cheap

Thank you
Self-planned / built after I saw what you have to pay for HPL garden houses or kits...
Visually, I took inspiration from the houses of @gart, but I designed it a bit more "robust."
Not so difficult if you plan properly.

Morning Morning

Looks great I'm also planning something similar, just with a shed roof.
Just placing it loosely definitely won’t work for us.
But we only get a storm when the sheep on the dike no longer have curls.

Now the construction of the garden shed is starting.
It will not be big, 1.90 x 1.90 m.

Recently I received a note:
Even with garden sheds, a minimum distance to the neighbor's boundary must still be maintained. It is supposed to be just a small minimum distance.

It apparently is not about the roof overhang (+ roof drainage), but about a regular mandatory distance. Does this mean anything to you?

Here I would also like to follow up once more. In the green forum I have often read that everything without a strip foundation is rubbish... Relatives and now also the landscaper think that compacted gravel and slabs on top are sufficient.
