Garden landscaping disaster or does it really have to be this expensive?

Prices are unfortunately normal.

I believe one can easily be mistaken there. My husband built the driveway, terrace, and splash guard himself, and so many working hours went into it... you wouldn't believe it! I wouldn't do it that way again.

One reads here about 100€/sqm paving. Including carport etc., 20K€ in total would have been rather optimistic.

That was perhaps unfortunately phrased, altogether it is 100 sqm of paving. The driveway only needs the top layer, all offers are around 2500 euros.

And if over 20,000 euros is considered normal for paving 100 sqm including gravel underneath – well, cheers.

I found a thread from last October earlier – unfortunately I can’t find it now – where about 100 sqm of paving was around 8,000 euros. A price increase of over 100% in one year, uff ....

Damn, sent too early, yes at 100,- per sqm I wouldn't say anything either. Our offers are over 200,-/sqm, but apparently it's just my feeling that I find it expensive :/

I also find it expensive, our landscaping cost 18 gross, that already included plants and a biohort shed. But I can't give you a tip on who does it cheaper, because my landscaper will certainly not work in NRW.
