In case anyone is interested: we also had an irrigation system installed. Our landscaper used Hunter due to positive experience. He is part of the family, so he actually did this out of conviction and not because he might earn more money than with another system. Our lawn is not laid yet, so I cannot say anything about the function at the moment. In the cistern, we have a Gardena pump with automatic function; this means it turns on as soon as a certain pressure in the system is fallen below, i.e., when a valve of the irrigation system opens.

I have to take a good look at the catalog sometime. Although everything is finally in place here as planned (or even more than originally planned). Still - you can always gather information. With this topic, you can easily sink a huge amount of money (if you want to).

So I also find Hunter better, especially because with it you can really cover everything in the most impossible corners of the garden...

And where Gardena stops at 3 sprinklers, with Hunter you can still add a fourth one... at least that's the case with my setup and water pressure.

Unfortunately, there are no square sprinklers from hunter, so actually only the gardena os140 remains.

Not the type from Gardena yes, but there are nozzles for four-square operation.
