Actually waited for Rick because I am mainly a theorist here. We are not planning much irrigation either, I just wanted to lay a water pipe to the vegetable garden at our place. Under gravelled or paved areas, I would definitely use a pipe for protection. You don't want to have to tear up the driveway again if something is wrong with the pipe. Under green areas without trees, a pipe is probably not necessary, but in case of doubt, it shouldn't hurt. If you come out in the middle of the green area, it's actually not a problem. You pull a pipe underground to all outlets anyway.

Sorry, just saw it now. Hope it’s not too late. You simply use a PE-HD pipe. Since the distances aren’t that long, a DN32. A protective conduit is not necessary with this pipe. Also, it’s not fun to pull a DN32 and a KG100 if it’s just a few meters… B (drainage) is also not necessary. You simply blow it out with a compressor in the fall. Your supply via faucet doesn’t make sense. Refill the cistern via faucet and operate it with a cistern pump. The faucet has too little pressure and flow. There are already several posts in this forum regarding irrigation systems, also with tips on pumps, etc. Then at your extraction point the valve box is installed. The individual circuits branch off from there. The control cables from the controller also go to the valve box. Lay the entire system during the garden installation. It won’t get easier than that. First, determine the positions of the sprinklers based on the plan and calculate the number of circuits. For flowerbeds and trees, it’s enough to end a separate circuit there. You can also easily install drip or root irrigation afterwards. The height difference is no problem with the right pump and sprinkler housings.
