Hello everyone,

This is about a new building in Bavaria. A technical room is planned in the garage (a total of 40m2). Therefore, a prefabricated garage is not an option. The structural engineer has calculated that the garage will be built with in-situ concrete. The garage stands on a 25 cm slab with frost skirts.

What do you think about this in terms of costs and practicality? Isn’t this overdimensioned? Most neighbors have garages with a slab and bricks or limestone.

Thanks for your opinions.
