Garage construction made of concrete! 3 walls or house extension? What do you think?

From Bonn, it is not far to (Neuwied) Heimbach-Weis. There is the Bims-Fertigbau Hoffmann (not related and no relation by marriage), who build garages on site from pumice panels, in a high-quality system, centimeter-precise and also following the boundary even when it is not a rectangle.

Personally, I think very little of concrete prefabricated garages - if they are supposed to have a double gate - because simply they do not exist then. Instead, two single garages are placed one behind the other, rotated by 90°, i.e., there is a joint across the entire width.

The omitted fourth wall must be replaced by a beam, which is rather more expensive than building it up with masonry. Therefore, I do not understand what purpose that should serve (except for the gain in usable width, but that also costs).

Well, at least the car stays intact.

I would have expected a plan to be presented here that says something. I have often seen builders puke here because, narrow-minded as they are, they did not see the way out.

Place the prefabricated garage first or have this also built from wooden studs.

The price difference should be somewhere around 200-300€, if even necessary at all. For example, with prestressed concrete elements, this would be obsolete. The architect and structural engineer will surely find a suitable solution.

I think it doesn’t look good; the garage is attached to the house like a tumor. Unfortunately, it doesn’t integrate into the architecture at all.
