Garage at the house

We are in the process of building a bungalow with a basement. The house is standing as far as it goes. Now the garage is to be built. It will be attached directly to the house. It will have its own foundation, which rests on the basement wall of the house. There is no separate wall on the house wall. The garage will have a flat roof. Do I need to consider anything regarding thermal bridges there?

Normally, you thermally separate both buildings, then there are no thermal bridges either.

we are currently planning and would also like a garage directly attached to the house without a separate wall towards the house.

The house will be a prefabricated house with timber frame construction. It will probably be too expensive with the house building company to have the garage built directly.

Is it possible to build a masonry garage directly attached to the house? What would need to be considered? How does it look with the foundation then? Would a concrete slab be necessary for the garage?
