Gable roof as usable area

Thanks for the picture. It's obviously great. We had also thought about something like that. But the house builders always have a "Binder roof construction" as standard, so due to the many cross beams, the space is only usable to a very limited extent. They also advise against placing the heating system etc. on the roof because of the large inspection shafts that would then have to be installed inside the house, and in case the heating system/water tank needs to be replaced, it is apparently also more economical to have a utility room on the ground floor. But in terms of space, you really made great use of the attic!
