Hello community,

we have a fairly large property and all of it should of course be well irrigated.
The construction has just begun and we are planning an outdoor water tap on the back wall of the garage. However, we are wondering if it is not technically possible to install the outdoor water tap freestanding. So not through any house or garage wall.
Can you simply connect a pipe from the distributor, where all the water comes together, and lay it across to where you would like to have the tap?
I have already seen some properties where water taps stand freely in the middle of the property.

To the outdoor water tap? Actually, I don't want a wall penetration. If possible, it should have no connection to the house. It doesn't make sense anywhere – first from outside into the house, then from the house back outside. So why not just leave it outside? That way I save myself the wall drilling... those are also typical hazard points.
