Hello everyone,
we have bought a plot of land in Saxony without utility connections and without access, with a size of just under 1000m2. Construction is to start in August. Now I wanted to remove 8m of hedges for the access/driveway next weekend (the plot borders the street on one side, but this side is bordered by a hornbeam hedge), there are a total of 23m of hedges there.
An acquaintance told me that I could get into trouble because it is currently the closed season for hedges. In my opinion, however, the hornbeam is not a hedge or a shrub, but a tree.
Am I allowed to clear the 8m for the driveway? Otherwise, I cannot get onto the plot and the house cannot be built :-( in October that will be too late... :-(
Thank you very much
Erik
