Hello,

We are planning to install a flush-mounted radio in our bathroom. Does anyone have experience with the radio from Busch & Jäger or Gira, are there any other brands that are recommended?

Does anyone have a tip for 2 ceiling speakers?

Experience so far none, but for now we have Gira on the list because of uniform switch design.

I would consider how much longer FM reception will even be available. In the age of DAB and internet radio, it is certainly no longer future-proof for long. For this reason, I have refrained and would rather take my Fritzphone with me to the bathroom, which can also play radio stations via the internet. The built-in radios are also far too expensive for their performance.

It is probably no longer up-to-date to listen to the radio, but we also have the simplest part from our E-series B&J, and I am happy with it. Our toilet’s pre-wall serves as the sound body - ingenious. I am quite sure that we will listen to FM radio for the next 50 years, but now I would rather install a USB-enabled radio that allows you to connect at least a mobile phone there. Or Bluetooth, or whatever.

I installed a Busch Jäger WLAN flush-mounted radio at a friend's place. I didn’t find the functions bad. Setup/installation was easy. The favorites list, etc., can be configured via smartphone/PC, and it can also be controlled via smartphone/PC. Since the speaker is only the size of a flush-mounted box, you shouldn’t expect a powerful sound. But for its size as background music, it is completely sufficient. However, the price is also hefty.
