I had already pointed out from time to time about second-choice parquet, which is available in various places online; I have a pretty good address if needed. - We had that installed by Meister on about 200sqm as a floating floor over underfloor heating. I wouldn’t see any reason against laying it now in such a room, we had it in the living room or everywhere. You just have to put a few boards under the furniture or where they are not directly visible. Technically they are flawless and once laid, it looks great. We didn’t want plastic or synthetic material either, so in the new house we laid solid wood planks without underfloor heating. The heat does pass through and you might want to give up on always looking for the most efficient solution. Something like that can also be easily laid on your own, I would be more cautious with gluing. Some people are bothered that floating installation sometimes gives a slight springiness (depending on the subfloor). Usually it really doesn’t and it’s simply not as hard as a glued floor. At the time we also considered Meister-Lindura but quickly realized that we wanted 100% wood again and the "disadvantages" of that are rather secondary for us.
