Hello, :)
we are planning floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor with a height of about 160 cm.
The knee wall height is about 190 cm. Between the window and the knee wall comes the roller shutter box.
Now to my question:
For floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor, you have to ensure fall protection. Since we do not want French balconies, we plan to fix the lower part of the window so that only the upper part can be opened.
Can someone tell me how high the fixed part of the window has to be? I have already read so many different numbers.
Oh, by the way, building in Lower Saxony, only in case this information is important to answer the question.
Thanks and regards
Tatze
