I have read up on it a bit now. I will report on what the general contractor's boss says about it. In any case, I will not accept the slab as it is. Our contract states "according to the applicable rules of technology," etc. The concrete cover is regulated in a DIN standard. I do not (yet) need an expert, I now assess the situation as that clear.
